"To whom it may concern,
I am currently on deployment on-board DDG-65 USS Benfold. We are currently on our 6th month and we have no idea when we are coming home. A lot of the men and women on board don’t receive a lot of mail from home. I would like to be adopted so that anything that is graciously sent to me, can be redistributed to those who don’t receive many packages from home. I’m sure it would brighten someone’s day.
